Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions

ALL TERMS ARE TOUR SPECIFIC AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By completing your purchase, you agree to be bound by all terms set out below.

1. Ticket Types & Pricing

The following ticket types are available for the 42Geeks China Tour 2026:

Full Tour — Private Room: $9,880 per person

Includes all tour activities, group meals, swag, and a private hotel room for the duration of the tour.

Full Tour — Shared Room: $7,880 per person

Includes all tour activities, group meals, and swag. Accommodation is in a shared hotel room. Room pairings are coordinated by 42Geeks.

Partial Tour — Private Room: $5,680 per person

Covers one leg of the two-leg tour (one city). Participants on a Partial ticket join for a single city segment and do not attend the full itinerary. Specific dates and inclusions for each leg will be confirmed separately.

Add-On: Macau Weekend Extension — Private Room: $1,450 | Shared Room: $950

An optional two-day (one night) weekend trip to Macau. Must be purchased in conjunction with a Full Tour ticket and cannot be purchased as a standalone ticket. Note: a separate Investor Summit in Hong Kong on Monday, October 19 may be offered independently — details will be advertised separately and are not included in this add-on.

2. Payment Schedule

Due to high demand, participants have the option to secure their spot on the tour by paying a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 USD at the time of booking. Paying the deposit reserves your place while allowing you to pay the remaining balance according to the schedule below. Participants who choose to pay a deposit cannot apply the Super Early Bird or Early Bird pricing, regardless of the time of purchase.

If a deposit has been paid, the remaining balance is due according to the following schedule:

·       50% of the total ticket price (less the deposit already paid) is due by the end of May 15, 2026. This payment is non-refundable once made.

·       100% of the total ticket price (less any amounts already paid) is due by the end of June 2026. This payment is also non-refundable.

Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of any amounts already paid. 42Geeks reserves the right to offer forfeited places to waitlisted participants.

3. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the 42Geeks team. The following terms apply based on the date of cancellation relative to the tour departure date:

90+ days before departure:

You will receive a trip credit equal to 100% of all amounts paid, less a $1,000 deposit (if paid) and less any applicable processing fees. The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. The 50% installment payment, if already made, is also non-refundable.

60–89 days before departure:

You will receive a trip credit equal to 50% of all amounts paid (less any applicable processing fees). No cash refunds will be issued.

Fewer than 60 days before departure:

No credit or refund will be issued.

In all cases, no cash refunds will be issued — cancellation credits are applied to future 42Geeks trips only.

4. Trip Credits

·       Trip credits must be used within 12 months of the end date of the tour for which the participant cancelled. Credits that are not used within this window will expire and hold no cash value.

·       Credits are applied dollar-for-dollar toward the purchase price of a future 42Geeks trip.

·       If the future trip ticket is more expensive than your credit balance, you must pay the difference at the time of booking.

·       If the future trip ticket is less expensive than your credit balance, the credit will be applied in full but no cash refund or further credit will be issued for the remaining balance.

·       Trip credits may be transferred to another person on a one-time basis only, subject to approval by 42Geeks. 42Geeks leadership has the right to deny any referred attendees.

5. Ticket Transfers

·       You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 45 days before the tour departure date, subject to a transfer fee of $250 USD.

·       All transfer requests must be submitted in writing. The incoming participant must be approved by 42Geeks leadership before the transfer is confirmed. 42Geeks leadership has the right to deny any referred attendees.

·       Transfers are not permitted within 45 days of departure.

6. Discounts & Special Pricing

6a. Early Bird Discounts

Early Bird discounts are available on Full Tour tickets only and are subject to availability.

·       Super Early Bird: $2,000 off the full ticket price (Private: $7,880 | Shared: $5,880). Available to the first 10 participants who complete their purchase. Once 10 tickets have been sold, this pricing tier closes automatically.

·       Early Bird: $1,000 off the full ticket price (Private: $8,880 | Shared: $6,880). Available to the next 10 participants who purchase after the Super Early Bird tier closes (purchases 11–20).

·       Once 20 tickets have been sold in total (10 each from Super Early Bird and Early Bird discounts), all remaining tickets are sold at full price unless participants have additional discount codes (from referrals, etc.).

Early Bird pricing is first-come, first-served and based on purchase order, not ticket type. Both tiers apply to Full Tour tickets only and do not apply to Partial Tour tickets, Add-Ons, or any other ticket types. Early Bird pricing does not stack with Duo or Trio group discounts — if you are eligible for both, only the more favorable discount will apply.

6b. Group Discounts (Duo & Trio)

Group discounts are available when two or three tickets are purchased within the same transaction.

·       Duo (2 tickets): 15% off each ticket. Both tickets must be purchased in the same transaction. Mixed room types are permitted — each ticket is discounted at 15% off its respective base price (Private: $8,398 | Shared: $6,698).

·       Trio (3 tickets): 20% off each ticket. All three tickets must be purchased in the same transaction. Mixed room types are permitted — each ticket is discounted at 20% off its respective base price (Private: $7,904 | Shared: $6,304).

Group discounts do not stack with Early Bird or Super Early Bird pricing. If both discounts would apply, only the more favorable discount will be applied.

6c. Stackable Loyalty & Referral Discounts

The following discounts may be applied in addition to (i.e., stacked with) any other applicable discount:

·       Geekuent Flyer: $1,000 off per tour. Available to returning 42Geeks participants who meet the qualifying criteria of having attended three (3) full Geeks tours.

·       Referral — Full: $1,000 trip credit, awarded when a referred participant purchases a Full Tour ticket. Referral credits are issued in the form of trip credit for a future 42Geeks event and must be used within 24 months of the referred participant’s purchase date.

·       Referral — Partial: $500 trip credit, awarded when a referred participant purchases a Partial Tour ticket. The same 24-month usage window applies.

Referral credits are confirmed in writing by the 42Geeks team. Self-referrals are not permitted.

7. Changes by 42Geeks

42Geeks reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary, dates, venues, or inclusions at any time. Where a material change is made, affected participants will be notified promptly and offered the choice of a full trip credit or a transfer to a revised itinerary.

8. Conduct & Eligibility

·       42Geeks reserves the right to decline or revoke any ticket purchase at its discretion, including where a participant is deemed not to be a good fit for the group.

·       All participants referred by others must be approved by 42Geeks leadership prior to confirmation.

·       42Geeks reserves the right to remove a participant from the tour without refund in cases of conduct that is harmful, disruptive, or contrary to the values of the 42Geeks community.

9. Limitation of Liability

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree that:

·       42Geeks is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property sustained during the tour.

·       42Geeks strongly recommends that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability, prior to departure.

·       42Geeks is not liable for costs arising from flight delays, visa issues, force majeure events, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
