TOUR ITINERARY

HELSINKI

SUNDAY, MAY 11
Geeks arrive in Helsinki! Geeks check in to St. George Hotel, before attending a welcome dinner at Ravintola Savotta to meet our Hosts and fellow Geeks, while enjoying local cuisine, including reindeer and bear!

MONDAY, MAY 12

Learn about Helsinki’s tech ecosystem, hosted by Helsinki Partners! Learn from the top industry leaders in Finland about the investment scene, Finland’s success in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in youth, and Finland’s unique defense positioning in Europe. We will be hearing from a key politician on what it means to share a border with Russia, and will have a chance to network with Finland’s top VCs.

TUESDAY, MAY 13
Continue learning about Helsinki’s tech scene, with company visits at some of the biggest names coming out of the region. In the evening, we are hosting a startup pitching event at Antler Finland, to fully immerse ourselves in the startup ecosystem.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14
Geeks have the day off to explore beautiful Helsinki! We will then take a lovely 3-hour ferry ride in the evening to our next destination - Tallinn!

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14
We will arrive by ferry in the late evening, and check into Telegraaf Hotel in Tallinn.

THURSDAY, MAY 15

Explore Tallinn’s startup and tech scenes through a series of panels and workshops, in partnership with Draper Startup House and Enterprise Estonia! Estonia has built a reputation as one of the most innovative and entrepreneur-friendly countries in the world. We will be learning about defense tech from NATO’s DIANA program, and hearing about the impacts of the “Skype mafia” on Tallinn’s ecosystem. Geeks have the evening off to grab dinner and explore Tallinn’s nightlife.

FRIDAY, MAY 16

On our second day in Tallinn, we are hosting a Geeks “Unconference” - our chance to learn from each other, discuss topics we’re passionate about, and truly bond with this highly curated group of experts! Our evening ends with our farewell dinner.

SATURDAY, MAY 17

Geeks depart for their home countries, or stay to explore all the beauty that Tallinn has to offer!
